One approachable treatment. More than one skin concern.

ClearSilk gently warms beneath the skin's surface, stimulating fibroblast activity and the body's natural repair process. Over time, this can support skin that looks healthier, more even, and more refreshed.

Calm the look of redness

For visible redness, ClearSilk directs gentle laser heat toward small vessels beneath the surface, helping reduce the appearance of diffuse redness and rosacea while leaving the skin's surface intact.

Refine tone and texture

ClearSilk can help improve the appearance of uneven pigment, dullness, acne scars, and rough texture without peeling.

Build a fresher look over time

Fine lines and radiance may improve gradually as results build. What you notice and when depends on your skin and goals.

ClearSilk feels warm and comfortable as the handpiece moves continuously across the skin. There are no needles or numbing, and a typical treatment takes about 30 minutes. With no downtime, you can return to normal activities right away.

ClearSilk is designed for all skin types, including darker skin tones, and can be performed year-round.

What areas can ClearSilk treat?

ClearSilk can be used on the face, neck, décolleté, and other areas of the body. Ask the Lakes team which areas are appropriate for your goals.

How quickly will I see a result?

Some patients may notice a subtle, refreshed look after the first treatment. Results can continue to build over time, and individual results vary.

How many ClearSilk treatments will I need?

A typical plan may include 4 to 6 treatments spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. The right plan depends on your skin and goals.

ClearSilk vs. Laser Genesis: What's the difference?

ClearSilk and Laser Genesis are similar, but they are not the same branded treatment. Both use non-ablative 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser energy to gently heat the skin beneath the surface. ClearSilk is made by Sciton, while Laser Genesis is made by Cutera. Because Lakes Dermatology offers both, the team can help determine which treatment better fits your skin and goals.
